On behalf of the American College of Sports
Medicine I welcome you to the TransAct
International Team Physicians Course for
2009 to be held in Johannesburg, South
Africa.
The College has a phenomenal record of
setting the standard as far as continuing
sports medicine education is concerned.
Apart from being the world's largest
professional sports medicine body with 35
000 members, it's annual meeting has become
a melting pot for presentations and research
of the highest standard in the field of
sport and exercise medicine.
Following in this tradition of excellence
are the ACSM Team Physician courses
presented by a faculty of experienced
fellows of the College. Each year one
international city outside of the USA is
afforded the opportunity to host such a
course and Johannesburg is proud to host the
2009 ITPC from 12-15 February. |
